The practice provides a wide range of dental treatments.

Our staff are fully qualified and are constantly updating their qualifications to keep up with advances in dental treatment and technology.

We do our best to ensure your dental care meets your individual needs and we will discuss proposed treatment and treatment options with you, giving you time to ask questions and consider alternatives.

If you require a service that lies outside the scope of the practice, then we may suggest referral to a particular specialist if this is appropriate.

From time to time the practice maybe involved with the training of dental professionals.

Preventative Dentistry

At Hadfield Dental Care we place a strong emphasis on preventive dentistry. This means helping you to take care of your teeth and gums so that you can avoid problems such as gum disease and tooth decay.

We recommend regular check-ups as this helps us spot problems early. A thorough examination helps you and us look after your mouth and prevent future problems.

Restorations

The practice offers dental restorations such as amalgam and tooth-coloured fillings. Your dentist will advise on the best option for yourself.

Prosthesis

The practice offers crowns, bridges, veneers, and dentures to replace missing teeth and protect and restore a broken tooth. These are custom made to match your mouth and can be made to look as natural as possible.

Endodontics

The practice usually recommends root canal treatment when the pulp of a tooth becomes infected. When a tooth becomes infected, that infection can spread and can cause an abscess which is usually very painful.

If left untreated, the infection can lead to damage around the bone of the tooth, and eventually tooth loss.

Clear Aligners

We have teamed up with 32Co to offer our patients clear aligners. Clear Aligners are used to straighten your teeth invisibly and are a popular alternative to traditional fixed braces.

Hygienist services

Scale and Polish

This can be carried out by your dentist or hygienist. Plaque and tartar deposits can be professionally removed with hand instruments or an ultrasonic instrument that uses water. Stains will be polished away to leave teeth feeling smooth and fresh.

Airflow

This technique of polishing teeth uses a specially designed handpiece called a prophy-jet. It delivers a combination of jet water, air and sodium bicarbonate powder to gently remove surface staining.
It is very effective for the removal of surface stains caused by tea, coffee, red wine, smoking and foods.

Tooth whitening

A whitening gel is used in custom-made trays which are worn for a number of hours daily to gradually whiten the natural shade of your teeth.

Our patient membership plan helps you keep your teeth and gums healthy by allowing you to budget monthly for your dental care so you can attend on a basis that is right for you.

Through longer regular examinations and hygiene appointments, we can spot issues early, potentially saving you from more invasive treatment in the future. You will also receive 15% discount off any treatment you require following your examination.
